Idaho State Civic Symphony 2009-2010 Season
The commitment to symphonic excellence in Pocatello dates back to 1934. For seventy-five years, our community has displayed unwavering support for The Symphony. Each of us, who has invested time, money, and talent to this great cause, has been rewarded many times over with nights of superb classical entertainment.

In 2006 The Symphony took a grand leap forward as we celebrated the opening of the Joseph C. and Cheryl Jensen Grand Concert Hall. Last year maestro Chung Park added his many talents to our organization and it is safe to say that the future of The Symphony here in Pocatello has never looked brighter.

Thanks to our many sponsors, benefactors, and patrons for everything you have done to help us reach this amazing milestone. Here’s to seventy-five more glorious years.

Since the early 1900s, The Idaho State Civic Symphony has enjoyed a tradition of excellence in music as a highly-respected regional orchestra. Only through generous donor support and sponsorship over the years has the Symphony been able to reach such levels in the Intermountain West's musical world. The audiences which fill the Jensen Grand Concert Hall demonstrate the support of the community, as do the generous contributions of The Idaho State Civic Symphony's friends.

The Joseph C. and Cheryl Jensen Grand Concert Hall is one of the crown jewels of the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center. Each one of the 1,100 seats in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall have been acoustically arranged to achieve perfection. Each salute of the French horns and every note drawn on the violins will resound with symphonic splendor. Your only regret will be that you can't take the performances home with you.

On April 20, 2005, the new L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center -- our future home -- opened on the campus of Idaho State University. We invite you to watch how the Center took form.
